Easter this year was spent with my (Kim's) family in the O.C. (yes, that's Orange City :) We headed out Friday right after school and prepared ourselves for the 3 1/2 hour trek with our spunkster Ruby. She fortunately had not had an afternoon nap at daycare and slept half of the trip!!! We arrived in O.C. just in time to catch supper with G. and G. De Jong, play a few rounds and zonk out for the big weekend ahead.
Saturday Ruby and I were busy with a wedding shower on my mom's side. It was great to see everyone and catch up. Ruby also enjoyed playing with her extended cousins. Then we made our way home for naps and chilling time. Saturday night we ate out at Cindo de Mayo in Orange City. Ruby loved her cheese quesadilla and spanish rice. Good thing because Mexican is one of Mike and I's favorites.
Then Easter Sunday was full of activity! The day started out kind of cold and wet, but thankfully the sun popped through.

After the service we headed back to G. and G.'s for Easter dinner...yumm-o! Once dinner was done we made our way outside for the Easter egg hunt! Ruby was a champ. She caught on right away and went crazy like the rest of them looking for eggs.
| Oops, sidetracked by the kitty! |
| Cousins: Back-Teylor, Tatum, Taryn, Front-Tavyn, Rylee, Ruby. I love how the little ones can't keep thier hands out of their buckets! |

Hope you had a great Easter as well with family and friends!
