Thanksgiving has come and gone in a flurry. Despite all the great things that took place this past week our hearts are a little heavy and in need of prayers for Mike. Friday and Saturday evenings, while in Michigan, Mike struggled with a cold that he had caught. After sleepless nights coughing, trying to catch his breath and dealing with extremely tight muscle tension, Mike was brought into the E.R. in Holland, Michigan to find relief on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Relief was found, but Mike is still on the up and up. Prayers for his continued strength, peace of mind, physical relaxation of his muscles and to ease his cough would be greatly appreciated! He is currently still in the hospital catching up on some much needed zzz's until either Tuesday or Wednesday.
By that time we will be anxious to get back to the comfort of our own home.
Isaiah 43:2
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
