I think we can officially say that Ruby is potty trained! Pretty much sleeping through naps dry, and even a couple nights, capable of holding it until we find a toilet nearby, and has not had a diaper on since this past Tuesday morning. It has been 5 days and we are well on our way. She is so proud of herself and is more than willing to share with anyone daring to ask what she just did in the bathroom.
So how does one keep an ants-in-the-pants sort of girl busy yet prepared for a potty break at anytime??? You play outside where accidents are easy to clean up, keep treats full of sugar on hand at all times and keep the camera flashing so she feels special that's she's got all the attention (like that doesn't happen on a regular day anyways).

And by the end of the week Ruby was tearing up the yard in big girl panties. There are so many more things she can do now it seems! Like running around half naked and still pulling off cute or strutting her tutu with Elmo duds poking out underneath! She's been a trooper through it all and diapers are no more at the Poll house. YAH!
